Decay of the National Defence Park

The Chengdu National Defence Park, once a popular and expensive amusement park, now without maintenance and no visitors seems more like a ghost from the militaristic past.

Don’t expect to find any working rides, or any open shops in here.

Once a nice place to spend a hot summer day.

This used to be a restaurant.

These are fully working, they used to take visitors for a drive on a small track.

These are cool pics. I saw the restaurant from Google Earth. These pics really flesh it out. Looks like a U.S. Supercarrier. or is it supposed to represent a Chinese Carrier? How large is it?
I saw this park in 24 City documentary. Post if you know coordinates of the Factory 420. I worked in a similar factory in the U.S. in the 90s. also making jet engine parts. Some of our parts came from Chengdu. Probably factory 420.
