Today we’ll have a look at the Giant Buddha of Leshan, an UNESCO world heritage site just 2 hours south of Chengdu.
This magnificient construction of ancient times, is the largest Buddha-statue in the world.
It’s a long way down from the top.
Many beatiful scenes can be enjoyed on the Great Buddha hill.
Around the hill you can find plenty of classical Chinese architecture.
And finally a view of the city of Leshan, covered in a typical Sichuan-fog.
